Welcome to ExoticAnimals. This is not just another 'just-for-fun' blog made to blog about nothing in particular. We have a set goal, and that is to inform you all about Exotic 'Pets.' As you may have heard, many animals have been being kept as personal companions, and though this may seem cool or fun, this is no up-beat topic. Tigers, cougars, ocelots, lions and other big cats have been known to seriously injure/maul their owners, snakes have strangled people, and small mammals called kinkajous have bitten people and sent them to the E.R. because of their poisonous bite.
You may be thinking, 'What is an exotic pet?'
An 'Exotic or Wild Pet' is defined as a rare or unusual animal which is not commonly thought of as a pet; for example:
-tigers
-lions
-cougars
-ocelots
-non-human primates (monkeys and such)
-kinkajous
-Raccoons
-Skunks
-Reclusive Pythons
-Crocodilian
-Serval
All are examples of exotic pets.
